We believe both are goals. They are vague and non-specific on purpose. In my experience business owners will fill in the blanks for what success is for their children and their business. For many, the definitions are very different. I believe it’s important to let the owner of a goal be the author of what that goal is.

You are correct in the definition of a goal under many circumstances. Under this particular one, it’s a little different story.
